Site fill covering wall fill

I am cutting a floor plan trough a building and half of the building is below grade. My topo fill pattern (earth) is overlapping my wall fill pattern (solid black) where it is bleow grade. My pad outline is on the inside of my walls the problem will go away if i move the pad outline to the outside of my walls. However, if i do that the pad outline shows on the elevations of the outside of the building. Any suggestions?

Would it work to inset the pad into the wall? Perhaps a 1/16" of an inch or so? Maybe the lineweight of the wall will then conceal the overlap, and hopefully you won't see the pad boundaries in the elevation view.

If it's showing up in a view you don't want to see it in (and for me that's primarily in Section) you can turn the Visibility of it off (it's under the Site Category).
