Steel Joist in Elevation

I cut a section thru my townhouse unit. My floor system is Hambro; steel joist w/ concrete slab. How do you show the steel joist spanding the unit? I loaded a detail component, but it's only show's the beginning of the joist. Any ideas? Thanks.

It looks like you are using the detail joist component, not the model joist component. Try using the model joist component and it will show in elevation...Be aware that the model joist may not be 100% accurate looking, but will do the job for this type of section. Then in your Wall Section showing the real detail work, then you would use the joist detail component...
