I have Autocad 2006. When subtract a solid object from the other, how can I keep the both objects? Anybody know?
Thanks

Make another copy of the one you are using to subtract with.

Thank you Opie. But is there another way?

I don't use solids editing much, therefore, I would need to pass that question on to someone a little more knowledgeable on the subject than me.

You'ld expect DELOBJ set to 0 would work - but it doesn't work on solids. :-(

Like Opie, I always make a copy of the objects first.

I can't think of any other way than Opie's solution. If you use ^C^C_copy;0,0;0,0; with a keyboard shortcut like I do, I doubt if you would look for any other way. :D

Thank you all,
I hope Autodesk will look into this.
