I am using a curtain wall to represent a tilt-up panel system where the panels are wall objects. I need to cut some holes into some of the panels.

I am following the instructions from help (Reshaping Cuirtain Wall Panels) and cannot get the following to work:

"2. Select a curtain wall panel, and click Edit Curtain Panel from the Options Bar. The In-Place Family . . . . ."

I never get the option to "click Edit Curtain Panel".

What am I missing?

You'll get a button on the dynamic tool bar that says Edit.
If you have selected a panel that is placed by the rules defined by the curtain wall type - this button will be greyed out as the object is pinned. You'll first have to unpin the object to enable the edit mode.

I need to cut some holes into some of the panels. There's the problem - the technique only works if you're using curtain panels, not if you've changed them to wall objects. It now acts as a Basic Wall, so you can place an opening (or a window object, or door object, etc) just like you would in any Basic Wall.
