I am doing Room Schedules....But I'd also like to show my Automated Ceiling Heights in them...How do you guys do it or what walk-around shall I use.
Thanks

Assuming they're flat you can use the volume of the room divided by it's area to determine it's height... but if they're not then you'll have to type it manually.

You would think that Ceilings would also have a Room property so you can schedule them and the room that contains them, like what is possible with plumbing fixtures and furniture. Too bad it doesn't work this way.

Has this been submitted to the wish list? I'm having the same issue on my project right now. Counter-intuitive for people coming into the project and explaining to them that the schedule isn't really reading from the ceilings but rather the room which has to be manually entered even though the ceiling is there!

I just place some walls quickly, a room etc. and made a room schedule because you got me curious. What is the un-bounded height parameter for in the room schedule?

If the ceiling is not flat, wouldn't you not be able to put the height in a schedule anyway? You would need to reflect this in an elevation, plan view or something to give a slope rather than a height. so it seems like this method work work just fine in most cases.
