Nothing showing up under BlockPlaceHolder for Fields

I have used this a million times & for some reason, there are no values listed under the BlockPlaceHolder option. Has anyone else seen this? Is there some system variable I need to switch. I'm trying to use a linear parameter in a field formula. Weak. Any help would be great. Thanks - WES

I guess I'll share, since I'll being called on it. Umm...I didn't realize at the time...I was trying to create the field in MTEXT. The 'BlockPlaceHolder' field can only be used within an attribute. I guess I just needed another cup of coffee, oh and to use the help provided by Autodesk. Although if a majority of us read the help files, these forums could possible have less users. hehe.

Where you in the block editor when this occurred?

That makes sense, since MTEXT is not update able once it is in a block.
