We started using the A PS plotter to write .plt files to a directory on our network, and have PDF's made autmatically from the directory. It worked great with a couple of very large projects that we tested it out on.

Im not working on another of my projects (150MB model, worksets, Revit 9.1) and it refuses to work. I get the error message listed in the attachment. Now, it works on certain pages, and creates an error on certain pages. The thing is, once it creates an error (like, if i have 20 pages selected, and it does it on page 3) it will then do it for every page remaining. I can sometimes get the pages to work if i do them one at a time with the "Current sheet" selected instead of selected sheets, but that defeats the purpose.

Its got to be something with the model, since the other projects in the office are working fine. I cant post the 130 MB model, obviously, lol...

I think it has something to do with the network; but it's a suspicion, only. I hope someone else has a more pedantic view of the problem.

This happens to us occasionally as well. We've yet to figure out what causes it. It occurs randomly without regards to file size, version, worksets or non-worksets, or even workstations. One person will get the error and then another tries it on his machine and it works without issue. I don't have the answer, but you're not alone.

Its not happening randomly here at all, which is a source of frustration. Anytime i try it with three particular models, its an issue. I guess i should try it from other workstations to eliminate my computer as a source of the problem.

Any other thoughts?
