Saving and loading groups

Hi, we drew a detail and grouped it, saved it as a group and when we try to load it into a new project, it says that it isn't a group file!

THis caused me to redraw the detail again! now I need the detail again in another project and once again it is giving me the same problems! what am i doing wrong?? it isn't a nested group but just lines and filled regions together!

Hummm... File extension of *.rvg?

You sould be able to open both projects and copy/paste between the two.

Copy and pasting crashes my revit. It comes up with a notice that says save recovery file. This comes up twice then it says revit must exit :-(

But i did get it copied. I actually chose everything excluding the dimensions. Grouped it, saved it and was able to import it. The funny thing is that the other details we created have dims in and they work fine!
