Multiple Leaders do not keep attachment

I read the following thread and used the 'ctrl' key to copy leaders before. But now the NEW leaders are not "attached" to the annotation like before. See attached DWG.

As I perform the copy operation, the leaders appear to main attachment until I finish the command by hitting the 'enter' key.

Is there a variable that got changed in the drawing ??

ADT 2006If I am understanding your question... only one leader can be associated with annotation in any release prior to 2008 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=GGGL%2CGGGL%3A2006-26%2CGGGL%3Aen&q=autocad+2008+multileader&btnG=Search). One option might be to 'Group' the leaders with the original leader and annotation.

Have I understood this correctly?
