I'm trying to split the face of a wall to apply a different material. For some reason it's only allowing me to do one split-face sketch per wall face, and when I try to paint one area, it paints the entire face of the wall as if nothing was there. I try to tab to just one section of the wall face, but I get the "warning" beep sound.

Also if I try to draw another split-face line on the same face, it won't allow me to tab through and select that face.

Anyone know? This is still 9.0 btw, is it a bug in this version?

I am sure you've already tried something like this, but try it if you haven't: Can you copy the wall in question into a blank project from your template file? After you have it in the empty file, repeat the processes as you did before. If that doesn't work, duplicate the wall, match properties, and repeat again. If that doesn't work, Autodesk should have the file in their hands...
Good luck and let us know what happens.
Cheers,
Stephen

ps: are you in 3d?

If it is any consulation, I have had a similar occurence in 9.1. From memory, I was not concerned with a 3d view so I used a filled region to achieve my aim. A split face would have been nicer though.
