Vertical Reveals

I can put in reveals horizontally in my wall no problems but when I go to plan preview there is no options to provide reveals. This is a Compressed FC sheeting and I want to show joints in the cladding. Can anyone help?

Chris,

Use a hosted sweep. These can ve vertical or horizontal.

Modelling -> Host Sweep -> Wall Reveal.

Or if you aren't rendering just make a model pattern showing sheet sizes.

If the patterns are dimensionally predictable - I'd strongly recommend using a model patten.

Let's see....

1..Hosted sweeps seem to rapidly effect performance.
2.. Hosted sweeps can't be exported via ODBC- one of few major categories left
3..

Me thinks Sweeps as we know them are disappearing perhaps?? :D

Thanks for your help, couldn't get the wall sweep to work on curved walls (like I have) but the model pattern worked a treat.

They do work in curved walls. Place the reveals in a 3D window first. Don't forget you need to 'start next' for each vertical element
