Hi all,
We have a project of a building that uses several wall types.
The problem is that we have a lot of finishes (e.g. a brick wall + natural stone). That natural stone can be of many different types.
OPTIONS:
1. We need that layer of natural stone to be geometrically there. But if I create a wall for each material finish I end up with a HUGE quantity of walls ā quite difficult to manage. However, this solution offers a correct material takeoff.
2. The other option is to have a wall type (brick + natural stone) and paint the different types of stone. But then the problem is that the material takeoff goes wrong.
So, what do the gurus recommend in a situation like this? Iām not sure which workflow to choose.
Thanks a lot.
