I'm sure this is a dumb question but how do I get asphault shingles and wood facia onto my 3d and elevation views? Right now my roof is a basic roof wood rafter 12"

I guess the better question can I change my roof family to have the facia and shingles already on it?

The asphalt shingles are added to the roof structure in your roof definition. The fascia is added as a host sweep, (modelling/host sweep/roof fascia). The material for the fascia is defined in the sweep, and you use a suitable profile to define the shape of your fascia.

I couldn't find anything OTB that says shingles so I used brick
It sorta looks like asphault shingles but they are too perfect.
I'd like something that looks a little more artistic a little more random

I'm having problems getting the endpoints of the sweeps to line up properly

You can bring ACAD pat files into Revit, so you can be "covered" there! Please read up on this topic in the help files to bring new Company specific pat files into Revit.
