I have a customer that is asking how to get the plotting settings from R14 for an HP 750 into 2000. I can't remember when the CTB files came into play and I am not sure what to ask of this guy. Any ideas?
AND DON'T TELL ME TO GET HIM TO UPGRADE - HE IS STUBBORN ABOUT HIS 2000.
Sorry about the yelling but this guy is frustrating me.

1st.. I missed you. Where ya been?
2nd.. Google didn't even do me justice. I couldn't find any anything on R14 plotting. There's a bunch of stuff on how to plot in A2k :p But nothing for R14. Sounds like the guy might need a service call.
Can't say if anyone will remember, but I bet most everyone will say "oh yea, that's it. yea. yea. I knew that."

Have you tried the "Add-A-Plotter Wizard"? This will allow one to import a PCP or PC2 file. I think R14 used the PCP file, but it has been a while.
You can also use the "Add-A-Plot Style Table Wizard" to import from those same file types.

Hi Donnia,
In R14, he is probably using PCP files. To create a CTB file, have him run styshwiz.exe (from the ACAD install directory) - then there should be an option to use his existing PCP file as the base from which to generate the CTB file.
BTW: If you need some R14 screen shots for reference - see http://www.aeblue.com/

I have been moving to my cabin since the weekend of Christmas or else I have been traveling for the job. I was in Nashville all last week training on Revit. At the cabin I just got my wireless set up last Sunday night so I am back online at home again. During the training weeks I don't get to get online much so I usually just do the membership request I get every day for AUGI. Not much time for forums.
Well - it looks like some have given me the answers that I can at least give this guy so I am back to work now.
