I have a dwg site plan that I imported into my Revit file. I imported it in the current view only and inverted colors. I have added what I need to add to it and have placed it on a sheet etc., and now I would like to override all colors to black. So I went to VG, selected all layers under that imported category, changed the line color to black and nothing happened. So I tried doing the same thing under object styles and nothing happened. Why isn't this working?? I just did it for a detail and it worked fine. I also tried it on a bunch of other misc. details and it worked fine as well. Am I missing something?

What is the best way to control this, through VG or object styles?

Thanks.

Hi there,
I never have tried to do what you are doing because I alway import a DWG with the setting to black and white.
You can change line weights in the object styles.

Good luck

This should only happen if the objects in the dwg are not bylayer/bycolor.

It should have worked. Something must be wrong.

That's what I thought. It worked with all of the other misc. details that I wrote to blocks from the same file, so why wouldn't this particular piece work? Something I may have neglected to mention is that this was in a drafting view...but so were the others, so who knows?
