Sorting Steel Sizes (W18x35) in a schedule

Does anyone know how to organize & group family member sizes such as wide flanges within a schedule? Is there a simple formula to use to isolate each size...& then give a grand total of each? W12x14......W16x36.......W18x35. Thanks.

When setting up the schedule, pick family, type, and cut length as fields.

Once the schedule is created, go to view properties, select the sorting tab, and sort by type, and check the box to get title, count, & totals in the footer.

Then go to the formatting tab, select the cut length field, and check the caluculate totals box. See attachment

Sweet. That was it....it takes a little getting used to all the different switches & buttons but I finally got to work. Thanks for your help.
