Column visiblity problem

I am working on a project, when i print the elevations the siding surface pattern beyond comes through the columns in front of it. It happens when I produce PDF's as well. I have attached an example of this, any thoughts?

Well, I got to thinking, I was using vector processing so I tried raster processing on the printing feature and it appear to have solved the problem.
