Switchboards and Panels

Is It possible to have switchboards feed the panels and then the panels feed the branch circuits and devices.


I also have another Question. Where can I find instructions on Making a Custom Panel Schedule. The ABS Panel Schedule Tool does not provide enough information and I would like to make or edit the current one to display Load by Device Type such as lighting load, heating/cooling load, or Power loads.

I work in the electrical Department at an Architectural firm and we are trying to implement the new software with an upcoming job.
I are running on ABS 2006.

Unfortunutly there is no way to link the loads of panels with the switchboards that feed them. This has been a wish list item of mine for some time. It seems like you should be able to use your one-line to show the linkage between each piece of equipment and then have ABS calculate loads according to this linkage. Maybe in a future rev.

I don't know of any specific tutorials on modifying the panel schedule but take a look at David Koch's blog ( http://architects-desktop.blogspot.com/ ) He is kind of the "Scheduling Guru" and I'm sure you'll find a lot of useful information there.
