Object Styles / Line Styles

Hi there
The object styles and line styles sub menu of my local file seems to be missing! In most instances there is a plus symbol that opens a list of objects and line styles under each category. I tried transferring the project standards from another file, but the same problem arises. The centrail file has all the information, but my local file's missing this menu. I'm guessing it's a problem with my install; I don't know if anyone else has seen this happen before. I've attached thumbnails of the screen captures, to show the menus. Please help!

Not missing... just hiding.

This is a graphics glitch. If you click where you would normally find the + sign then the sub-menus will apppear.
There have been a number of posts about this. I believe it's a Windows issue and if you change your Windows settings to 'Classic' then it disappears.
