I posted this over at Acad as well, but as usual, it's gathering dust and sinking like a stone...

Okay, this is a PIA. I have the generic icons showing up in the Design Center with 'Large Icons' as the view choice. I've seen this before and I opened the files, saved them and used 'REFRESH' they would pop right in as they should look. Not anymore. I spent over an hour opening, resetting the base point to the proper place and saved them.
Open Design Center, right click, REFRESH... nothing. Same generic icons after that little flash showing that it was trying to do something.
I had just finish another directory using the same procedure and they worked fine. Similar drawings/file sizes, etc...

The 'preview' works fine (it didn't before with the generic icons showing) but the Icons themselves are not updating.

Any Idee-yers?

TIA

Hi

I am not sure I quite fully understand the issue / problem you are currently experiencing with icons in Design Center.. but to try and help get the ball-rolling, have you looked at things like...

_.BlockIcon
RasterPreview
UpDateThumbNail
ID: TS1056241 - Preview icons in Design Center are different than the icons in Tool palette (http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS1056241)Have a good one, Mike

The problem is that the Icons in Design center are 'generic' icons (the blue/yellow thing that says dwg) even after using refresh. I checked the above info and all seems to be okay. I'm beginning to think that my "unsupported" graphics are starting to catch up to me. But the maddening part is that I had just done a different directory and they plopped right in correctly. Now, they don't work from anywhere else.

Thanks, Mike- I'll keep poking around!
