I am having a wierd problem with my mouse wheel - It stopped panning. Yesterday it worked fine, today it doesn't.

Mbuttonpan is set to 1.

The mouse wheel is set to 'middle button' in control panel.

I have already looked at the "Mouse middle button (wheel) playing you up" thread, and nothing in there helped.

I am using a Logitech MX500 optical mouse, driver version 9.79.
I am using AutoCAD 2004, running on Windows 2000.

I did use GTX RasterCAD on an AutoCAD 2002 installation shortly before this problem showed up, however I don't think a setting in AutoCAD 2002 would affect an installation of AutoCAD 2004.

If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

While I love logitech mice, I have historically had problems with the drivers. I typically use the default windows mouse drivers without issue.

Does the button work correctly in other application?
Are you using uberOptions?

Yes, the middle button works properly in other applications.

I've never hear of uberOptions, so I assume I am not using them...

I have the MX1000 and in order to get mine to work properly I had to go into the Logitech Control Panel for the mouse and set the wheel to 'Generic Button'.
