More shadows!! Ahhh!!

I tell you what, the boss doesn't make it easy for me!! Another shadow problem, but this time i'm thinking it is out of revit capabilities. I want to be able to do an aerial view of the building, showing shadows, but i dont wan the roof to be visible so that the inside of the building is visible so as to show the sun penetration to each of the rooms, problem being i need the shadow to be cast as if the roof is still on! shite!
Any miracle workers out there?
Or is there a simple solution?

I think you will need to do two seperate views overlayed on a sheet and probably some Photoshop.
Do a view with the shadows on of the roof plan and overlay the floor plan view to cover the roof up. However this will not get you the interior shadows as if the roof was on so on to Photoshop.

This sounds like 2 renderings and photoshop to me. I don't see how you can change the rules for just part of the image. Maybe you can do it in Max, although I'm not even sure how you'd do that. I'm guessing your boss is a hand-drafting guy...
