Where has "change space" gone in 2007? That was a tool used a lot in my office.

Type 'CHSPACE' is the way I've always used it.

Is there a button or menu command for it?

Hi

Try the following information...

Command: _.ChSpacePull-down menu: Modify -> Change Space

New, Changed, Removed Commands and System Variables in AutoCAD 2007 (http://autodesk.blogs.com/between_the_lines/2006/03/new_changed_rem.html)

ID: TS1056115 - New and changed commands in AutoCAD 2007 (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=7459935&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike

CHSPACE
Moves objects from model space to paper space, or vice versa. (integrated Express Tool)

I use this quite alot when sub contractors insist on going against our spec and giving us borders in paper space for single sheets although our spec says it should be in model space.

However, there are some times when we would like to shift something from model space to paper space. When I try the CHSPACE command in model space in AutoCAD 2007 I get the following messege.

Command: CHSPACE
** Command not allowed in Model Tab **

Am I missing something as the quote at the top here says it should work in model or paper space? Thanks in advance :)

You need to be in paper space selecting objects through an active vport.

It was moved to the bottom of the Modify menu.
