Mass Visibility

I have created a model using Mass with various elements - top, base, sides, etc. Is there a way to turn off the individual elements in a particular view so the view prints as shown? For example, in view A just show the base.

I guess you could use filters

I'm trying it out. Is it possible to name a Mass element after creatingit? Can't see any option for doing so.
