Walls from Faces

I have been using massing tools to create curved walls with void spaces.
However when I join the void to the mass and then create a wall the wall is the entire face and not just the portion that I want.

Any ideas???

only curtian systems will honor the voids, I don't know why. You should send it in as a request/support request. I'm not sure they know its doing this.
