stair nosing (faceted?)

Is facet the correct word?

My stair nosing, while being is a minor visual problem, is horribly faceted. The stairs in question are curved, while the straight set has no problem showing the smooth nosing as it shoudl be.

I know there is no settings for Revit to control this, but how does it come to this conclusion? It's the same profile, just curved stairs instead of straight.

I don't have a solution to the problem, but here is an idea for a possible workaround. Instead of using a half round nosing, why don't you create a new profile that is faceted by you (make a half octagon, decagon, etc.).

That is silly and it worked! LOL. Oh to have Revit model rounded surfaces better!
