I really can't understand why we have to mention this kind of problems... Can't someone from the dev. team notice that?

Ok, let me explain. I have a wall, with exterior wrapping and I want to add some reveals but I can't do it to all the sides of the wall. It is very annoying to see commands not working 100%

I think that there is no workaround but to start sweep voids etc...

You dont need a work around. Click on the sweep (reveal), and in the option bar click "Change sweep returns." Then, there will be a pull tab after it returns the 90 degrees, and you can drag it across the "side" (thickness) of the wall. Works great.

Oh sweet!! In what release did this option appear?
The number of times I have thought about wanting to do this.

It really works ok, but (shame on me, always unsatisfied) can you explain why we have to do this, instead of just continue the reveal as we usually do?
I just don't see any reason, except the case that there is no wrapping at ends... This doesn't usually happen so I would prefer to get an error then.

Can i explain it? Certainly not, lol. I didnt write it that way, and i dont know why there did. It seems to make sense though. If you could select the side of a wall for a wall sweep, it wouldnt be cutting through the interior or exterior layer, as the sweep profile would call for, it would be cutting through everything, core included. I, for one, am happy it is the way it is, it makes such a move have to be deliberate.
