DETAIL VIEW CROP REGION NOT SHOWING UP

Can anyone tell me why the crop regions show on some of my detail views but not on others? I have crop region and crop region visible both checked but they dont show up and consequently I cannot resize them?

Try hovering over the edges of the drawing-the crop region should show up. When it does right click and click/check "show annotation in view". It seems that it was hidden some time before. That should do it!

Details do not have crop regions. They anticipate that you don't draw more than you need in a detail.
