Greetings All from snowy Colorado!

Arlen here, looking forward to learning more about ACAD from all of you. I started 17 years ago on version 9 but really learned from the pencil, bar and board before that.

For now, I've got a question tech question on disappearing toolbars so look for my thread in the AUGI General (Technical) area and catch me over there.

Thanks,
Arlen

Hi Arlen,

Welcome to the forums from a former west sloper now living in San Diego. I do miss the snow but on days like today (Sunny 84 deg) I forget why.

Welcome aboard! I might even be helping you on the tool palette question. Don't forget to give the search function a shot prior to posting.

Welcome to the forums! I first started using AutoCAD around the same time (1989), I'm sure we'll be able to help you out with your questions. 8)

I've been using it a little longer (http://www.augi.com/volunteering/default.asp?page=1412) than you two. ;) (God I'm getting old!)

Welcome to AUGI, Arlen.

Thanks All!

Haven't gotten to posting my question yet. Darn work keeps gettin in the way. The nerve...

Chad_C, would you be wanting the snow before or after I cut it up? :) We're due for more this weekend. That should make 8 weekends inna row for new snow. Most of it has hit the city and eastern plains. The mountains are needing it pretty good.

Stelthorst, the snow is nice but frankly, I'm missing 84 degrees and putting for whatever.

A general heads up: I'm known here (at The Szynskie Group) for being a goofball, live or via the keyboard. If I respond in jest, nothing personal. I'll keep it real though too, when needed. The way I see it, the work we do is more fun if we put more fun into it.

Until the next thread!

Arlen
