In the 1980's our Co. used Generic Cadd 6.1. We produced quantities of gcd files. We can read these files with VC Viewer but can not edit nor print them. Is there a way, or program, to convert these files to DWG Auto Cadd 2000 files ?

If you still have the GCD program you might try saving them as DXF files. or if the viewer can convert them to DXF you could read them in CAD that way. Only other thing i can think of is were those files compatibale with VersaCAD? I have a couple of old versions from the 80's that might read them

Follow up:
I did some research on the web, Generic Cadd has a new release called General CADD that runs in Windows, it should be backward compatible with your older files and enable you to print them out. The company website is : http://www.genericcadd.com If you can also convert your old files to an EPS format than they could be read by Adobe Acrobat and you could save and print them as a PDF file. Hope this helps
