Line style tones

We've noticed that if we need different shades of gray lines we can adjust the luminosity of the line and print in gray scale. The problem is when we introduce a color (other than black/gray) to the line. Even if we use the same line style in the same shade of blue on a pattern in the floor the lines don't print consistently the same shade of black. Has anyone else run into this?

Why wouldn't you just choose a new colour that is slightly lighter?

We did choose a color that was lighter. When we used that color and tried printing the drawing on our OCE the tone for every line was different even though the color and line style was exactly the same.

Autodesk said that they are still working on line tone enhancements.
