I was wondering if it was possible to create a line type that would actually draw 2 parallel lines at the same time. For instance, I want to draw a solid line with a parallel dashed line (offset roughly 2") to represent a closet shelf with a coat rod beneath, but I would like to draw them both at the same time. Is this possible?

Is this possible?Yes - you would create this as a specialty, furniture or generic family using the Generic Model Line Based Template.

Here's an example...

Has an offset parameter to adjust line spacing.

Very cool. Thanks to you both. I'm new to Revit but just learning how awesome it is. I wish I had switched over sooner. Thanks again-JB
