section cut views of topo surfaces and walls etc appear to be of a lighter tone than the material specified. i'm trying to add a filled region to fill up the spaces in between and am trying to match the RGB values of the Fill.
is there a way to view the rgb values or control the values of the cut objects?
thanks!

Immediate advice: STOP using filled regions.
Regular advice: OBJECT STYLES (under Settings...) control the cut and projection styles for everything (including site and walls). In addition, you can control things like cut, surface, and projection of most model objects such as walls in the VISIBILITY GRAPHICS (type the letters VG in any view) which is View Specific. Finally, under settings, you can make more specific controls for things like materials that are assigned to site. Go to the Settings... drop-down and then choose Site Settings... This will allow you to make changes to the Section Cut material Earth...
Good luck,
Stephen
