better organize Views and Sheets within folders

very often it becomes hard to locate the view you wanna activate, starting a viewname with a code helps, but not enough...

everyone likes this; (both on views AND Sheets)

add a projectparameter "FOLDER" [type=text / instance-based / NoMatterWhatGroup] to Views (and/or Drawing Sheets)

next; setup a new ProjectBrowser type:
1: Group by Family
2: Then by FOLDER
4: Sort by Family and Type

@first there will be shown ??? as a defaultname for the FOLDER
you can select all views (w shift) in a category, rightclick > properties and alter the FOLDER name
the FOLDER parameter will be shown; and ofcourse you can do it per view...

same for SheetBrowser;
1. Group by FOLDER
4. Sort by Sheet number

it helps you reducing the proj.browser listlength and go faster to the desired view

you can by the way also schedule this parameter although it is not a shared param.

I know you've outlined how to do this but i still found it a little difficult being a Revit beginner. So i thought i would layout how to do this EXACTLY for all the other beginners out there :3

I use Revit 2013, but these steps still apply to 2012 users.

1) under Manage tab, click on 'Project Parameters'
2) click 'Add'
3) Fill out the following information, then click 'Ok':
.......* Parameter Data:
..........- Name: Folder
..........- Type of Parameter: Text
..........- Group Parameter Under: Other (or your choice where you want it)
......* Categories - tick 'Sheets'
4) This next step can be done 2 different ways. I will list both:
......1) a) under 'View' tab, click on 'User Interface'
.........b) open 'Browser Organization'
.........c) under 'Sheets' tab, click 'New'
.........d) fill out the following - Group By: Folder
......2) a) Right click 'Sheets' under your Project Browser
.........b) click on 'Type Properties'
.........c) click 'Edit' next to 'Folder'
.........d) fill out the following - Group By: Folder
5) select the sheet you want under a folder (you can multi select sheets as well)
6) under Other/Folder type the name of your new folder. Do the same of all your sheets.

Very, Very Unlikely they will implement anything like this in one release of Revit 2014. Autodesk takes at least 3 realeses to get anything done right lol.
