I have posted before with no response. I have attached an image of what I think shows what is wrong. The exported layers do not appear to be AIA layers. I have a feeling it is something rather simple...but I can not figure it out....
For example:
Why do walls go on the layer "Walls" vs the AIA layer "A-Wall" which, based on my settings, I think it should go on.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Your AIA text file is not correct. you must have saved over it. Try the attached one instead.Repalce the file in C:\Program Files\Autodesk Revit Building 9.1\Data

Scott,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I thought it was probably something like that. Something simple. I looked for a way to re-download the original file, but could not find it online.
One addtional question:
In the export settings box (where it list all the catagories and the the respecitive layers), there are layers that appear in italics. I assume those are layers where there is not an element (in the Revit model) that corresponds to that layer - correct?
My point is, I am working with someone who is still using CAD and I would like to have the entire set of layers available to them to work on. I know he can add the layers but it would be nice if ALL the layers could be "set-up" when I export it from Revit.
Thank you again for your help.
