Revit Crashing

I have 2 building types in separate files. I'm trying to copy one into the other. This copy and paste causes Revit to crash. Any ideas besides linking them?

try filtering out diff. things and determine what is causing the error. Many times its a single item. try coping, just walls, doors and windows. If that works add roofs, then floors, etc. until you find something that stops it.

I tried linking files and coping plans, then croping the views. Floor, roofs and wall surface patterns are on and I can't turn them off. My level symbols are on top of my elevation and I can't move them. What pain in the #@!?*&.
