Vertices appearance in toposurface

I'm having a little problem with a site. When I try to modify or ad points I get weird vertices. Normally when this happens, I would create a new toposurface at places where I need to modify the elevation height over the old one. However, the two toposurface don't blend smoothly at places where the edges intersect and subregions don't overlap two toposurfaces at the same time.

Looks like a fairly serious site model you got going there! Impressive!

We have also found the topography fairly unpredictable in this regard, but often this will only occur if it gets 'confused' about how to construct the topo. Basically, if we didn't have similar height points close enough (ie, a recognisable "row" of similar height points), or a bunch of disimilar points too close together (ie scattered high and low points too close). Sometimes it just involved deleting a few, replacing them or moving them about. Also, instead of dragging we use the 'move' command as it is more predictable. Not really a certain solution - more a frustrating trial and error process. good luck =)
