Remove a floor and reducing the height

I’ve produced a schematic 9 storey building for informal discussions with the planners. Ground Floor commercial, 1st floor and above residential. Upper floors start to step in and barrel vaulted roof. Took about a day with Revit.

Planners have suggested it is too high and we should take out an intermediate floor. However, deleting a floor layer doesn’t reduce the height (didn’t honestly expect it to).

I’d prefer not to have to re-draw. Any suggestion on how to remove, say, the 3rd floor and drop the height?

I would delete all elements on that level, then go to an elevation and delete the actual level then move all other levels down and rename.
