Quick change phase of multiple objects?

If I model a building without thinking of phases, everything is New Construction. If I then realise that I need to use Revit's phasing aspect, it seems that I need to change the phase of the objects I've modeled ONE AT A TIME, or else some kind of very homogeneous multiple selection.

Is there any other more efficient way of doing this?

The only other thing I've thought of is just to combine/rename the phases in the project and make a new phase -- yuck.

Try this:

Go to a 3d view. Select by window the whole building. Go to properties.

You should see the phase parameters there, and can change them there.

If you have any non-phasable items in your selection, like dimensions, etc, they will not appear.

You can select multiple model objects in a 2d view as well as a 3d view.... Just don't accidentally select any drafting items.
