Is it just me or does the Tcount command have a mind of its own? I usually only try to sort by x or y when everything is perfectly in line and it still jumps around. For instance, when I have 3 rows of ten numbers it will start on the left at 10 and then count from there backwards in the rows. I can get by using the mirror command and then redo tcount. Is that just how the command works, or am I missing something as usual. And since everybody wants to know what I’m working with here are my specs:
Full Autocad 2006
Windows XP Professional
Pentium 4 CPU
3.80 GHz
3.50 GB of Ram
24" Dell 2405FPW monitor
Mahogany veneer on 3/4" particle board desk
Textured Plush Carper
Unspecified padding
5” Concrete

What does "start on the left at 10 and then count from there backwards in the rows" mean?
Choosing X as a tcount option will select text in the increasing x value of it's insertion point, Y option does the same, only ordering by increasing y value of text insertion point. It may be easier to tcount your columns in groups.

why not use 10,-1 for your increment, then you dont have to mirror the text to get the result you are looking for. Or maybe I dont quite understand the question.

Starting with 10 was just an example. I was just trying to figure out if there was a better way of controlling how it numbers the text. For instance I would like it to start at the upper left and work down, instead of tcount picking a random text to start with

Let's say you have 3 columns of 10 items each.
Upper left working down will work under two conditions:
1. You use the Y option and use 10,-1, working one coolumn at a time (second column 20,-1, third column 30,-1)
2. You pick them in order you want them numbered.
