Very nicely done Chris

What rendering package & in particular how did you go about the landing ceiling Chris?

Very nicely done Chris

What rendering package & in particular how did you go about the landing ceiling Chris? Thanks, it's plain Revit, with a little bit of photoshop clean up.

The loft floor/ceiling (I think that is what you're asking?), is just a floor sketched in the deisgn. I normally tuck a thin "finish" ceiling in there if I need to mount lighting etc.

Yes that's the one ~ its nicely smudged giving very realistic results ~ that's why I asked

What does the Photoshop clean up involve

Very Nice...I like the drywall colors...I find it's not easy to get good looking drywall colors.

All I can say is that you are a Revit Master! I would love to see you compile all of your knowlege into PDF tutorials?

By the way are there any Blogs by Revit users or Autodesk Revit employees?

Thanks

Just cleaned up a few "jaggies" from around the picture frames that were left over from the radiosity calc.

The high quality rad solution is what make the landing lighting look nice.

Radiosity took 20 minutes, raytrace about 5 minutes.

Thanks, been using revit for 4 years now, so I know it pretty well. I've put together some tuts here and there over the years, maybe I will compile them sometime. If you heading to AU, I'm planning some fun classes for this year.

We have tossed about the blog idea here at the revit community, it might happen if enough users would find it helpful.

What sort of machine spec do you have? My internal renderings are taking hours. Any advice on speeding up my renders would be greatly appreciated.

Roy.
