Hi everyone, just joined and checked out some of your downloads. Got to about page 9 and my brain cant take anymore!!!!!! Some really good stuff. Has anyone done anything clever with lookups? I am "trying" to create a DB that uses lookups to fill in attribute values. It kinda works, but the problem I am having is stopping users from manually editing the attribute once it has been selected.
Anyone got any ideas?

Anyone got any ideas? yeah, i went through that.
You can't change it. Not if you want the fields to work. I just put in all caps "DO NOT EDIT" in the description area. That way people will more than likely be able to tell that "hey, I shouldn't change this"

Anyone got any ideas?on top of what Rico said, it's best to have the lookup in place first before making the attribute with a field. i recently had issues with that and found that inserting the linked field during the attribute creation was the least painfull. the rest of the story is HERE.
