Whenever i've used design options, i encountered a huge performance drop. Especially turning options on and off always takes about 6 seconds. This has been to the point, that i had to abandon the use of design options altogether except in a very basic stage of design, as much as would have wanted to use them.
Now, after discovering the intereference check tool, to my great surprise, REVIT reports hundreds of interferences between elements that are in different design options. That doesn't make any sense to me, because there will be inevitably many overlaps between different design options. But it would easily explain the slow-down. Has anybody had similar problems, or actually not had them?
Or am i just doing something horribly, horribly the wrong way?
