I've received a bunch of PDF files that need to be put into ACAD format... I am running Acrobat 8 and ACAD 2007... any ideas?...

i opened the file in illustrator... then exported it to a DXF... But once in ACAD, the file was huge... anything curved was in thousands of line segments (hatch, arches, door swings and text... i think the text was the biggest problem i had...

if you have any other ideas, please share them...

If you are still looking for a conversion software package, this is the website for a PDF to DXF converter, then make a DWG. There is no layering created, at least you do not have to re-draw everything. We use it. http://www.aidecad.com/
