Disappearing dimensions

I don't understand why this happens. I changed a wall type along the exterior walls of my building to have deeper metal studs, deeper in a horizontal dimension. When I made the change, I got an error that several dimensions were now invalid. These dimensions were VERTICAL dimensions on a piece of casework totally unrelated to the exterior walls of the building. The dimensions were from floor to top of counter, and floor to top of the interior column wrap adjacent to the casework. I do not understand why changing the wall type on the exterior could possibly affect vertical dimensions on an interior elevation detail.

It could be a lot of things. Hard to tell without the file.
Maybe the wrap you are talking about was the issue

The column wrap was a totally different wall type than the wall type that I changed.
