Imported .jpg Image not showing.....

Hi, I imported a image file into my Revit file but it is not showing under View>Visibilty/Graphics...>Imported Categories; not even a warning or error message appears. I even stretched out the Crop Region to the edge of the continent searching for it but to no avail. I'm totally puzzled. I have imported images to this Revit project with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wait a minute. I think I've found out something. I was trying to import the image into a floor plan layout. When I tried importing it into my sheet layout after posting this it worked ok.
Now my question has shifted.
Can a image be inserted into a plan layout?

I am not sure I completely follow the question but in my mucking around to follow you I have done this:

Imported an image into a plan view - no problem.

Took a callout of the plan view completely surrounding the image and the image did not appear in the subsequent callout.
To get the image to appear in the callout I used Clipboard Copy and then paste aligned.

Is this close?
