Has anyone ever received the following message when trying to uninstall? "Error 1316 A Network error has occurred while attempting to read from the file: c:\windows\installer\ADT.msi? I cannot uninstall ADT 2007 and I cannot run it because I get this error. "A lisense system error has occurred. Any ideas?

Have you tried to run a repair first. From what it sounds like, ADT is looking for a licence server that it can't find. My guess is that when you try to uninstall it's looking for the licence server so it can take your computer off the list or something. Just a thought.

I think David is right, but following on from that, how was the program deployed in the first place, as a stand alone or a network install.
Also just in an endeaverment to obtain further info how are you trying to uninstall the program?
Edit: Did I just make that word up???

No, it's a word, I believe that you may have spelt it wrong, but so would I.
Dictionary.com has this
Endeavorment
\En*deav"or*ment\, n. Act of endeavoring; endeavor. [Obs.] --Spenser.

I installed it as a stand alone installation. For some reason my tool palettes were gone (I think this happened when I ran a program to get rid of spyware) and then when I did a repair, the tool palettes showed up again, but would not work. I then tried the reinstall option, that did not work, so I tried the repair registry. That did not work, so I thought I would uninstall the whole thing and start over. It then would not let me uninstall or reinstall. Finally I deleted all of the folders that had anything to do with ADT 2007 and then deleted the registry entries. I logged in as administator did the windows update, then reinstalled ADT 2007, then the SP1. It then worked beautifully. Thanks for all the responses!

What you did is referred to as a clean install.
