For those using the product, how is it working or is that not permitted under some NDA?

There is NO Non DIsclosure Agreement for Content Highway Beta.

Since Dec 2006, we have had 408 company registrations representing over 3100 Revit seats download Content Highway Beta. The majority (80%) are US/Canada based.

We're extremely pleased with the interest from the Revit community and intend to increase the number of developers involved on Content Highway.

We also expect to release a Content Highway (North America version) with bundled US content. We will be doing this in partnership with a US based company and hope to make a formal announcement soon. RRP for the 'bundle' will be $350.

Estimate Highway for Revit is going very well and should be released within 3 to 4 months.

Three significant features have been introduced with this release.

(1) Content Highway is now able to extract type properties from Revit RFA families. This was easily the top wishlist request by our beta testers. We originally believed this couldn't be done without considerable API improvements from Autodesk. However we got creative and managed to achieve it by using Revit as the engine to extract the properties.

(2) Content Highway can now also 'batch' generate 3D DWFs from RFA files. The DWFs can then be viewed from within Content Highway. I think it looks very pretty :)

(3) And of course the big one - Web Upload/Download functionality. It should now be possible take one's entire library of content (or portions of it) and publish it to our web portal for public or private sharing.

We're busy updating the help documentation and it should be availabe within the next few days.

We ask that bug reports or technical questions be posted on our dedicated support forums.

Otherwise feel free to post 'general' questions or comments here.

We value everyone's input.

Content Highway Beta 1.1.1 (8 March 2007) is now available for download (http://www.digitalbuildingsolutions.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62).

The main improvements in this build concern stability of
RFA Processing (http://www.digitalbuildingsolutions.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64) and DWF Viewer Integration.

In our tests, we can now successfully process over 2 GBs of network folders containing RFAs, extract all their Types & Properties, whilst simultaneously generating 3D DWFs for each RFA. The 3D DWFs are then viewable within Content Highway. It looks superb - Its very cool to browse your content as 3D objects.
