I am on ACAD 2005 and have Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Proffesional and no matter what I do, the colors won't merge. I have colors merge checked in the plotter manager. Any ideas?

In the PC3 file, you have lines merge checked ON?

Not having any real experience with Adobe Acrobat for AutoCAD I can't attest for the Lines Mergeability (just made up a new word) of the Adobe Distiller. No less, other solutions such as CutePDF don't do Lines Merge all that well (at all really).
The most reliable method I have come across is to make a DWF and then plot the DWF to PDF. Not optimal, but seems to do the trick.

I was thinking that Adobe didn't handle lines merge, but I have not looked at it in some time...
We use AcroPlot, which does support "Lines Mergeability"...
