I have wall footings in 9.1 that I have used the foundation tool in the structural tab to create the footings for the walls in the .rvt file. My question is they show up in my foundation plan but they have an extra line (see attachted file), it is the salmon/orange colored line in the middle. It only shows on some footings but not others, so I am guessing that it has something to do with the view range? any help?

PS. this is the first time that this has happened using 9.1.

John,

This is the analytical component of the footing. Open the Visibility/Graphics Overrides dialog (VV or VG) Under the Structural Foundation Category you should see an Analytical Model sub-category which you will want to uncheck. If you can not see these categories make sure the Show categories from all disciplines box is checked near the bottom of the dialog. You may want to create a view template for this so you can quickly apply it to other views.
